Tuvimos una noche tan conmovedora como inspiradora. Garcias a todos los que asistieron y a los chicos Hungaros por viajar de tan lejos para visitarnos. Estaban gratamente soprendidos y agredecidos por la colaboración espontanea de la sangha en Valencia.

Han venido a Valencia un grupo de gitanos que practican el budismo con Triratna en Hungría. En su país hay mucha represión y ven mucha similitud con los budistas dalits de la India.

In summer 2008 I got an opportunity with my family to participate at the camp in Uszó. For me, it was not only a summer rest, a distraction, and not only the practice of Buddha Dhamma, but the beginning of a new life.

Yes indeed, a new life.

Everyone knows that I suffered from alcoholism. I did not recognise that I was ill. I did not accept the prospect of recovery. Whole armies of doctors tryed to convince me but, even though I had hepatitis and cirrhosis of the liver, I did not pay attention to them. The doctors predicted that I had two more months to live. I admitted myself into an alcohol detoxication and rehabilitation center. However, I went there intoxicated so they did not accept me because it was an entry condition to maintain ten days of abstinence. I was not able. Instead, I preferred to continue to drink.

I hope you all are doing good. We all are celebrating 119th Birth Anniversary of Boddhisatva Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar (Bheem Jayanti) and most of us are busy in planning/arrangements of this Great Day.
We all are aware that, we already have less Festival in a year. People are getting attracted by Hindu Festival or some other special days and still celebrating Hindu festival(i.e. Diwali, Holi, Garbha, Rakshabandhan, Mahashivratri etc.).

Rashtriya Pariwarik Dhamma Sangoshti (RPDS) are telling to people about, what are our Festivals? what is our Culture? Dos’/don’ts for Festival? etc etc through workshop, since more than two decades.

What we can do on Bheem Jayanti/Buddha Jayanti (Vesak Poornima)?
