Zsuzsanna Dome, also affectionately and respectfully known as Dada Suzi, was born in 1984 in Budapest, Hungary. After graduating from the University of József Attila in Szeged with a degree in History, she began a career in the teaching field. She studies chinese language at Budapest “Dharma Gate” Buddhist College. From an early age she was curious about social work and the arts. After her twenties, Suzi also became involved in various types of voluntary work including demonstrations, programme coordination, etc.
In August 2008, she came into contact with Dr. Ambedkar high school and the JaiBhim Network in Sajokaza. She became highly motivated by seeing the work being done at Dr. Ambedkar high school and the JaiBhim Network. There is a burring desire in her heart to work for true welfare, growth and progress of Hungarian Gypsy communities.
She then began to work at the Dr. Ambedkar High School in Hegymeg, Sayokaza, as well as Ozd as a history teacher. She developed an interest in Gypsy culture, and the arts in general. Her deepest concern is to help people free themselves from their suffering and to motivate students for their education.
